Mini Album No Limit

Monsta X levels up and impresses with every release, and new mini-album No Limit—which drops on November 19th, 2021—looks like it will be no different. It is set to be a seven-track thrill ride with multiple songs written, arranged, and produced by members Joohoney, I.M., and Hyungwon.

If their last mini-album One of a Kind is any indication of what is to come, No Limit will not only explore the group’s versatility but also bring their powerful vocals and rap skills into the spotlight once more.

It appears that the song “Rush Hour” will be the second title track for rapper, vocalist, and producer Joohoney, whose first title track “GAMBLER” earned the group an MTV VMA nomination.

This will be Monsta X’s first comeback without their leader, Shownu, who enlisted in mandatory South Korean military service this past July.

English Album The Dreaming

This comes after the announcement of Monsta X’s second full English album The Dreaming, which arrives on December 10th, 2021. Monsta X’s melancholic single from the album, “One Day,” recently peaked at #32 on Billboard, approaching the Billboard Top 25.

Expectations for the group’s sophomore English album are particularly high after their previous full English album All About Luv climbed the charts before peaking at #5 on Billboard.

Monsta X has previously collaborated with Steve Aoki, Pitbull, French Montana, and Sebastián Yatra, which makes me curious as to who we might see listed as a featured artist this time around.

Concert Film “Monsta X: The Dreaming

The globally famous K-Pop group will release a documentary concert film entitled “Monsta X: The Dreaming” which will share “an intimate look at their rigorous journey over the past six years” and include a sneak peak at their new English album.

Monsta X: The Dreaming” will premiere in theaters around the world on December 9th and 11th.

iHeartRadio Jingle Ball and U.S. & Canada Tour

If you thought that was all the mega-group had planned, guess again. Monsta X will also be performing at the concert event of the holiday season, The iHeartRadio Jingle Ball. They will join superstar artists such as The Jonas Brothers, Doja Cat, Bazzi and Megan Thee Stallion before kicking off their U.S. & Canada tour in Toronto.

Fly Again” K-Drama

And finally, if your head is spinning from everything Monsta X is showering their fans—known as Monbebe—with, brace yourself for member Hyungwon’s starring role in K-Drama series “Fly Again” starting November 13th, 2021.

Hyungwon will play talented high school student Han Yohan whose dream of becoming a K-Pop idol is thwarted by an injury. Viewers will watch Yohan push through his setback and search for new avenues to pursue his passion while encountering an interesting cast of characters along the way.
